Stop laziness from interfering with your cyber security

When it comes to healthy password
habits, we’re aware that sometimes we sound like some nagging mothers.
“Do this, do that, make it
unique, make it strong, make it a hundred characters long” and so
on.
Yes, we’re all lazy. Yes, cyber security is hard. Nobody has the time to change
all their passwords on a regular basis, make them unique AND still remember
them.
That’s why it’s important that we keep in mind the fact that strong passwords are the easiest and
at hand way to keep intruders away from our valuable accounts.
Try to remember the following analogy: We never use the same key for our car,
our home and our office. If we would lose one or it would end up stolen, the
thief would have access to all of our assets. Then why would we do the same with the passwords for our
online accounts?
Also, you can use a
password management software that will remember all those
passwords for you and scream at you if they aren’t unique or strong enough. And
this way you’ll only have to remember one master password.
